In 2008 Progress Press signed with GWS for eight GWS G145 Shaftless 4Hi Towers and two GWS 221 Folders.  With the expertise and cooperation of KTS in Malta, GWS has brought Progress Press a total solution to their customized printing needs. For example, two of the 4Hi towers will have a UV drying system above them as well as an automated blanket wash device for all 64 units of the pressline.  This machine will be very impressive as well as cutting edge.  Introduced for the first time is the exclusive GWS Centralized Lubrication System.  This will allow a single pressmen to grease lubricate an entire 4hi with an easy pull of a handle.  The installation is due to start in 2010. The customer options include Prime UV, Quad Tech Auto Color Register, Quad Tech Auto Cut-off Control, Quad Tech Web Severers, Smith RPM Spray Dampening, Smith RPM Blanket Wash System, Jardis Splicers, Jardis Infeed, Perretta Remote Inking, Stitcher, GWS ¼ Folder, GWS Notch Perforator, GWS Triple Cross Head Perforator, GWS Double Parallel, and a GWS 9 Web Driven Roller Bay Window.
